Just don't do it. Every 10 years you get weak and hungry and think Ponderosa is what you remembered as a youth. Its not. Keep the old memory and don't replace it will a current bad one. Steak is off color, flavorless and surprisingly tough for such a thin slice. Starch bar seems so tempting but everything seems to have a unfamiliar distinctive taste. Kids will love it. Adults not so much.
Friday's are our favorite day!! We LOVE the clam chowder. After we eat we get two lg clam chowder's to take home.
I mean this is a buffet that serves some pretty good steak I think. The employees are awesome not to aggressive or anything and I haven't had any issues with the buffet.
It is smaller than some that we've been to but it makes up for it with it's food, friendly atmosphere and cleanliness!! Some we have been to are absolutely gross and I'm just not sure how they get away with it.

If I could give this review a negative number I would! The food on the buffet was so old it was hard. We could even eat off the hot bar. We had the salad portion of the buffet was alright...just as we were saying at least the salad bar was good my husband took the first bite of his salad and found a hair in the cottage cheese over 12" long! That did it we were finished and will never go again. We paid just under $40 for 2 adults and a child for a meal we couldn't eat.
We absolutely LOVE this Ponderosa!! It is the BEST Ponderosa we've ever been too. We will drive right by the one in Mount Pleasant and drive the extra 15 miles to this one.
