Wow it's amazing it's got a big hill
Close to shopping, or as close as 3 miles to down town Clare, and no more than 40 miles either north to Houghton Lk. or south to Mt. Pleasant for store big ticket items.
Campsites are shaded, easily accessible, small. The bathrooms smell like an outhouse. The showers are clean but you have to hold the button down to keep it on longer than a few seconds as there are no knobs. We were told they have electric and water. We were given a site with electric only. Extra cars or guests have to pay a 6$ fee. The fire pit is a small tire rim buried in the ground. I saw no convenient grills. 25$ a night. Rude host. Will not be back.
