Ah no it's not the the compressor keeps turning off and back on again. Our room never really cooled down.
Now if the customers staying at the hotel could control their mouths in the morning, it might not of been so bad. But foul mouthed all three days, every morning!!
The staff was awesome.. Joshua was very friendly and had a clean room pleasant experience for the holidays! I will be back!
Everything else they serve was okay.
Easy to find location off the freeway. Staff was courteous. Our non smoking room smelled a bit like stale smoke. Luckily the window opened. Room was decent sized but the beds were uncomfortable and squeaked when moving around. Both shower and bathroom fan were pretty noisy. Breakfast was decent. Pool was average. Overall, it was an inexpensive place to crash for the night, so my expectations weren't very high.
The Doherty is more expensive but that is where I will stay the next time in Clare.
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. A pleasant place to stay while attending a conference in the area.
The first night there our room a/c unit was not working well. We had the night person at the front desk come and check it out. All she did was reselect the buttons we pushed and then said " It's working fine".
Very friendly staff, and the rooms were clean. Good location right off the freeway. Dated for sure. Breakfast bar was spotty during our three day stay. One day was great the other two not kept filled as it got busier in the morning. Also feel it's worth mentioning that there is no elevator so if you're on the second floor, you will be lugging your bags upstairs by hand. All-in-all I would recommend for the price.
Biscuit and gravy. The gravy was nasty, the sausage very greasy. The syrup for the pancakes really had no taste.
We'll, this place is has a lot to be desired. There are very few places to stay in Clare. This being one of them.
This place does serve breakfast.
