I visit this location frequently during the summer after a long bike ride and this place is always hopping. The baked goods are the same original recipes from when my parents were growing up in the 60s, before it was purchased the police force. This crazy lady I know has never been disappointed because she can always get her favorite childhood donut.
Love the concept! Donuts are practically unlawful, they are just that delicious! Leo in mind most of the donuts are very large so either share or be prepared to possibly take some home :)
The Grill Area for Breakfast and Lunch Menu Items is Fantastic. What seems like Chaos is Controlled Excellence in Food and Delivery. I have never seen a Disappointed patron. The food is Great, we typically get the Rubens and Fries, the Burgers are a delight, as are the other choices. And then you can top off your indulging with a Calorie Selection from the Bake Goods Area, And that Is What they are Famous For!!!! You need to Stop and Enjoy. You will not be Disappointed in any way. Also a nice selection of t-Shirts and Collectible Sovereigns.
Merchandise is fun and since I have 2 family members who are on the police force (different states) it's great being able to support the blue.
Staff are friendly and eager to assist when needed.

I worked at Cops and Doughnuts for about 2 months. The product honestly isn’t that bad, but the management is laughable. There are 9 different owners who never seem to be on the same page, and when they get frustrated they take it out on their employees. They treat their employees horribly. DO NOT TIP. EMPLOYEES DO NOT GET CREDIT CARD TIPS. They hide this from their employees. Also, do not get their pastries. Unlike the doughnuts that are made everyday, the pastries can sit out for up to 5+ days uncovered. There are always flies in the display cases. For the two months I was there I watched 4 people walk out. Including a supervisor a assistant manager, and a general manager. This is a failing business. Horrible place to work with a fake friendly atmosphere.
The history and nostalgia is amazing. The donuts....superb. Definitely a return to place. Lot's of gift ideas.
